El cuadro nos presenta al arcángel Uriel en toda su majestuosidad, vestido con una túnica amarilla que irradia luz y esperanza, en contraste con los elementos que sostiene en sus manos: el manto rojo de Cristo y los dados que los soldados utilizaron para sortearlo. Estos objetos, cargados de simbolismo, representan tanto el sufrimiento como la humanidad de los eventos que marcaron la Pasión, mientras que el arcángel parece custodiar estos relicarios celestiales con reverencia solemne.

La figura del arcángel domina el lienzo, pisando sobre nubes vaporosas que flotan en un cielo estrellado, como si caminara entre el tiempo y el espacio. Este fondo celestial, repleto de estrellas, evoca la eternidad y el misterio divino, mientras que la postura del arcángel, serena, pero poderosa, conecta lo terrenal con lo eterno. La combinación de colores vibrantes y la disposición simbólica de los elementos hacen de esta obra una meditación visual sobre el sacrificio, la redención y la trascendencia de los actos humanos bajo la mirada divina.

  Uriel the Archangel (2021)

The painting presents Archangel Uriel in all his majesty, dressed in a yellow robe that radiates light and hope, in contrast with the elements he holds in his hands: Christ's red cloak and the dice that the soldiers used to raffle it off. These objects, laden with symbolism, represent both the suffering and the humanity of the events that marked the Passion, while the archangel seems to guard these celestial relics with solemn reverence.

The figure of the archangel dominates the canvas, stepping on vaporous clouds that float in a starry sky, as if walking between time and space. This celestial background, full of stars, evokes eternity and divine mystery, while the archangel's posture, serene but powerful, connects the earthly with the eternal. The combination of vibrant colors and the symbolic arrangement of the elements make this work a visual meditation on sacrifice, redemption, and the transcendence of human acts under the divine gaze.
