Santa Teresa de Jesús, figura cumbre del Siglo de Oro #español, destaca por ser una de las personalidades más completas y revolucionarias de la historia. Fue capaz de armonizar una profunda vida mística —plasmada en la belleza poética de obras como Las Moradas— con un pragmatismo arrollador que la llevó a reformar la Orden del Carmelo y fundar numerosos conventos frente a las resistencias de su época. Su legado no reside solo en su espiritualidad, basada en una relación de "amistad" íntima con lo divino, sino en su humanidad radical y su valentía como escritora; una mujer que, con un estilo cercano y directo, demostró que "entre los pucheros anda el Señor" y terminó convirtiéndose en la primera mujer reconocida como Doctora de la Iglesia. Este dibujo es un homenaje a su figura.

Saint Teresa of Avila, a towering figure of the Spanish Golden Age, stands out as one of the most multifaceted and revolutionary personalities in history. She masterfully harmonized a profound mystical life—captured in the poetic beauty of works such as The Interior Castle—with an overwhelming pragmatism that led her to reform the Carmelite Order and found numerous convents despite the fierce resistance of her time. Her legacy lies not only in her spirituality, based on a relationship of intimate "friendship" with the divine, but also in her radical humanity and her courage as a writer. She was a woman who, through a relatable and direct style, proved that "the Lord walks among the pots and pans," eventually becoming the first woman to be recognized as a Doctor of the Church.
